Gwangju lamb skewer restaurant after work: kkanpunggi at Jangbaeksan
Jangbaeksan Yangkkochi Songjeong is a lamb skewer and Chinese restaurant near Gwangju Songjeong Station in Gwangsan-gu. Arriving around 7:30 pm after work, two people ordered 2 servings of lamb skewers, kkanpunggi (crispy sweet-spicy chicken), Tsingtao and Harbin beer for about 70,000 won, and while the skewers were tender with no gamey smell, the spicy kkanpunggi was the bigger surprise. Jangbaeksan Yangkkochi Songjeong is worth a trip for an after-work date or team dinner over skewers and beer.
