Pyeongtaek noodle restaurant for soybean kongguksu: Goryeo Mulchong
Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu is a dongjuk clam noodle restaurant on Pyeongnam-ro in Bijeon-dong, Pyeongtaek. Visiting with the kids, we ordered mulchong kalguksu (clam knife-cut noodles) and seoritae kongguksu (chilled black soybean noodle soup), and worked through the full course: clam soup first, fresh noodles timed by the 5-minute hourglass on the table, then free four-season fried rice. With its own large parking lot and wide gaps between tables, Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu is an easy pick for a family meal out.
