Free corkage and 5 side dishes at a Namyangju BBQ restaurant: Udontan
Udontan Dasan Main Branch is an aged-meat Korean BBQ restaurant a 6-minute walk from Dasan Station in Namyangju, Gyeonggi. Two friends made a Naver reservation and visited at 3:30pm to try the aged usdaegalbi (thick-cut prime galbi) set and beef short rib doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), where a staff member grilled the 120-hour aged galbi from start to finish over charcoal, and the 5 handmade side dishes, especially the seasoned lettuce salad, paired beautifully with the meat. Corkage is free, so next time they plan to bring their own wine.
