Dongtan north plaza bar with scallop-brisket combo: Susanjang
Susanjang Dongtan Branch is a newly opened Japanese-style seafood bar at the north plaza in Dongtan, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, specializing in raw sweet shrimp sashimi and seafood drinking dishes. On a Sunday visit at 9pm, joining the waitlist through Catch Table, the order was Suntory draft beer, raw shrimp sashimi (with a 3,000 won add-on for butter-grilled shrimp heads), butter-grilled comb pen shell with beef brisket, and comb pen shell Toowoomba-style creamy pasta with grilled cheese, while the salt-grilled raw shrimp they came for was sold out. The butter-grilled shrimp heads made that extra 3,000 won easily worth it.
