Grilled fish set with mackerel and hairtail in Gwangmyeong: Todam
Todam Hwadok Saengseongui is a wood-fired grilled fish restaurant at 459 Anyangcheon-ro, 3rd floor, Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi. On a fourth visit, the writer ordered the mackerel set for 17,000 won and the hairtail set for 20,000 won together, sharing both fish from one plate along with self-serve pumpkin porridge, roasted sweet potato, and the pot rice and cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew) that come with the meal. The fish was thick and moist, pairing well with the pot rice, and the room and group seating plus a baby chair made it an easy choice for a family meal.
