Korean restaurant lunch with a baby, revisited with a cold: Baekok
Baekok Dongtan is a pork gomtang (bone broth soup) restaurant on the basement food court level of Lotte Department Store Dongtan in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. The writer had lunch there with a baby, ordering the spicy gomtang set (soup, two cabbage dumplings, and a soda), then came back for the same set the following week when a cold was coming on. The toreom-style rice, spicy broth, and cabbage dumplings made for a satisfying, comforting meal both times.
