Seorak Makguksu Chuncheon Dakgalbi Yangju Branch is a newly opened charcoal dakgalbi restaurant on Mansong-ro in Yangju, Gyeonggi. The order was charcoal dakgalbi for two, grilled start to finish by staff, with bibim makguksu (spicy buckwheat noodles) added partway through. The new space is clean and comfortable, and not having to grill it yourself makes the meal easy to enjoy.
Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch is a pork rib restaurant on Songnang-ro in Yangju, Gyeonggi, where a bowl of naengmyeon (cold noodles) is free per person when you order meat. Ordering three servings of handmade Korean pork ribs with an added doenjang stew (soybean paste stew), the seasoning struck a good balance of sweet and salty that kept the chopsticks coming, backed by a varied spread of banchan (side dishes) including yukjeon and yukhoe. With its spacious layout and generous table spacing, it made for a satisfying family dinner spot.
