Haemokjeong Daebudo Branch is a Korean restaurant on Daebudo island in Ansan, Gyeonggi, serving seafood stew, seafood-rib stew, and seafood hot pot. After sand play at Banghameori Beach, the writer ordered an abalone seafood hot pot in a clear, non-spicy broth (no cheongyang chili) along with fried squid and handmade jumbo pork cutlet, pulling out the squid and octopus right as they cooked and letting staff trim the abalone with scissors. A satisfying, kid-friendly way to enjoy seafood without the heat.
