Aewol black pork BBQ 600g with peanut salt: Nopo Dwaeji Aewol
Nopo Dwaeji Aewol is a black pork geun-gogi (thick-cut pork) restaurant on Gwakji 9-gil in Aewol, Jeju. Four of us, including a four-year-old niece, booked an evening table and ordered the 600g black pork set of pork neck and pork belly, then added extra pork neck after falling for the crushed-peanut sesame salt, kelp rice and seafood doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew). Staff at Nopo Dwaeji Aewol grilled every piece from start to finish, so even a group with a toddler never had to touch the tongs.
