Yongmeori Coast noodle spot in Jeju: matcha broth at Sanbang Sochan
Sanbang Sochan in Jangsu Sanghoe is a Korean restaurant serving Jeju specialties at the foot of Sanbang-san in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju. For the first meal of a month-long stay in Jeju, a couple ordered the matcha warm noodle soup (malcha onmyeon) with pork broth and the beef and tangerine Pyeongyang naengmyeon (buckwheat cold noodles), tasting a meat broth with a faint note of matcha and a cold broth seasoned with tangerine vinegar. For a clean, light meal along the Sanbang-san, Yongmeori Coast and Sagye Beach sightseeing route, Sanbang Sochan is worth a stop.
