Handam Guksu Gwakji Aewol Branch is a pork noodle soup restaurant near Handam Beach in Aewol, Jeju, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sea. Three bowls of bone-broth pork noodle soup (10,000 won each) and handmade pork tteokgalbi (3 pieces, 10,000 won) came to 40,000 won for three, and the writer's brother-in-law, visiting from Spain, lifted the brass bowl and drank the broth to the last drop. With its own parking spaces and a self-serve side dish bar, Handam Guksu made an easy lunch stop on an Aewol day out.
