Cheongpyeong butcher shop: 2cm pork belly and jowl, Ari Chuksan
Ari Chuksan is a butcher shop on Gangbyeon-ro in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong, Gyeonggi, where the meat is butchered in house. For a pension barbecue, Ari Chuksan packed pork belly cut thicker than 2cm plus pork jowl, raw garlic and shredded scallion, and threw in enoki mushrooms and Korean beef tendon (hanwoo suji) for free. The pork belly grilled up springy and juicy, and that one piece of beef tendon turned a meal-kit soybean paste soup into restaurant-quality broth.
