Bongdam grilled fish restaurant with table kiosk ordering: Hwadamga
Hwadamga is a large wood-fired grilled fish restaurant on Nangnaegi-gil in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. On a weekend lunch visit, the writer ordered a bori-gulbi (dried yellow croaker) set for one and a grilled hairtail set for one from the kiosk at the table, then filled up before the mains arrived thanks to a self-serve bar with no repeated side dishes, unlimited beef seaweed soup and japchae, and suhyangmi hotpot rice. Prices at Hwadamga are steep, but one look at the self-serve bar makes them easy to accept.
