Gwanghwamun group-dinner hanjeongsik, pine-nut mustard salad: Modam

Modam Dining Gwanghwamun is a Korean set-meal (hanjeongsik) restaurant on basement level 1 of the Deoksugung D-Palace building in Jongno, Seoul. On a weekday evening with his parents, the writer ordered the charcoal-grilled deodeok pork set (32,000 won) and the hanwoo 1++ bulgogi hot pot set (39,000 won, minimum two people), served as a course that ran from seasonal porridge to pine-nut mustard salad, Modam tempura and perilla oil capellini. With private rooms and large-group tables, Modam Dining Gwanghwamun is an easy pick for family gatherings and matchmaking meals.
