Hongdae Korean restaurant with fatty pork tail jjim by a window: Anok
Anok is a hanok Korean restaurant in an alley by Exit 9 of Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul, serving clear pork gomtang and Pyeongyang naengmyeon. Two of us shared Pyeongyang naengmyeon at 14,000 won, clear gomtang at 13,000 won and pork tail jjim at 29,000 won at a window seat looking onto the hanok, and the pork tail jjim tasted a little greasy for anyone who dislikes fat. If you want mild, unfussy Korean food in a quiet room, Anok is a good fit.
