Charcoal cleansing balm for textured makeup skin: HEEDA Jirisan
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I used on makeup-wearing skin with flaking and texture concerns. It melted into an oil-like texture as I massaged it in, and I was pleased that my skin felt less tight immediately after cleansing.

How did it feel on skin with makeup-related flaking?

I used it when my skin felt flaky after makeup and I was concerned about texture and tiny bumps. The balm melted softly on contact with my skin, and it felt moisturizing while I massaged it in.

How does the texture melt and how did I use it?

I attached the built-in spatula to the lid and removed the clear cover. The balm texture was soft and turned oil-like when it met my body heat.

After gently massaging it over my skin, I added a little water and emulsified it thoroughly. The original says that clean Jirisan charcoal and fine charcoal particles may help absorb sebum and impurities; this is an ingredient description.

How did my skin feel immediately after cleansing?

I was pleased because my skin felt less tight immediately after cleansing and my makeup felt cleanly removed. I also felt I could use it comfortably to remove heavier makeup, and I plan to use it with a foam cleanser depending on the situation.
