What situation led me to use it?
After changing my child’s car seat, I realized that one of the seat belts in the car was not working. I started using the Migijae car seat belt clip because I wanted to extend the seat belt beside it.
Are there any incompatible vehicle models?
The product said it was compatible with all vehicle models, but it also noted that the K7 and Santa Fe Prime were not compatible. It is a product that extends the seat belt length and attaches with one touch.
How were the appearance and one-touch attachment and release?
At first, I liked its neat appearance. It was also easy to operate because you insert it and press the button to remove it. My five-year-old could insert and remove it too.
Before using it, I wondered whether the connection would be sturdy, but when I handled it myself, it felt solid.
Because my child has short arms and found it difficult to reach the original belt, we used two clips. Once they were attached, my child could fasten them directly and press the button to release them when we arrived. I found it convenient that they were easier to reach while operating them.
How was it when I pulled on it or attached it in the opposite direction?
I recorded a video of myself trying to pull it apart while it was connected. When I pulled on it, the connection did not come undone. The previous car seat had felt loose, but with the clips this time, it felt like it fit more closely around my child’s body.
When disconnected, the connecting piece felt fairly long, and it went in deeply when inserted. It came apart easily when I pressed the button. Since it can be attached in either direction, we could use whichever direction was more comfortable when my child pressed it and when I pressed it.
