Bueokgan Suwan Branch is a pasta and pizza restaurant in the Suwan district of Gwangsan, Gwangju. Arriving early on a weekend without a reservation, the writer sat by the big window and ordered Kung Pao chicken pilaf and truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, in a space with 2-, 4-, and 6-seat tables plus baby chairs for dates or groups alike. Waits happen here, so a reservation is safer, but going in the daytime lets you enjoy the window-lit atmosphere at its best.
