Why choose a cleansing balm instead of cleansing oil?

When I was almost out of the cleansing oil I had been using, it seemed like tiny bumps were coming up, so I felt I needed to manage sebum. I wanted to try a cleansing balm, which is said to be good for melting away sebum, and chose this HEEDA product with charcoal.

I remembered removing makeup well with a different cleansing balm before, so I used this one with expectations too. The black container and the matte-looking balm were impressive as well.

What are the directions and what comes with it?

The box listed directions and full ingredient information. The method was to spread it evenly over a dry face, massage areas where blackheads or pores were bothering me in circular motions with my fingers, then rinse. It felt similar to the way I used my cleansing oil.

There was a spatula inside the container. I thought it would be nice to use it to scoop out the balm rather than taking it directly with my hands.

How did it remove makeup, and how did skin feel afterward?

It looked firm and matte from the outside, but the moment I applied it to my face, it melted smoothly like an oil. I even tried removing the eyebrow makeup left on at the end of the day, and by my standards, it removed my makeup cleanly.

I did not feel especially dry immediately after washing, and I personally liked the scent, which reminded me of acacia. It felt as though the sebum between my pores was melting away, but since I do not have many blackheads, it was difficult to judge any change in them.

Is it worth continuing to use for tiny bumps?

I used this product to see whether the tiny bumps would go away, so I think I will need to use it a little longer to know about that. For now, I have been satisfied using it to remove makeup instead of cleansing oil.
