Charcoal cleansing balm for oily areas, tested: HEEDA
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a cleansing balm I used for about four months in Korea. On my dry face, the solid balm melted like oil as I massaged it over makeup and around my nose, leaving a moisturizing finish for me.

How does the sebum cleansing balm melt?

It looked like a solid balm, but it melted like oil when it touched my skin. I also liked the texture when scooping it out with the spatula. It came in a matte black container with a clear protective cap.

How did I use it on a dry face?

Before washing my face, I scooped out about a spoonful onto my dry face and rubbed it in. I do not usually wear heavy makeup, but I massaged it over my makeup and especially around my nose. As the product melted during use, my face looked somewhat darkened.

How did it feel after use?

For me, it felt like it left a moisturizing finish after use. I massaged the oilier area around my nose a little longer, and I felt as though the sebum was melting away.

Where did I buy it, and how much did I use?

I bought it on Coupang and used about four containers of it. I wrote that one container tends to last me around a month. At the time of writing, I checked whether it came with a pore brush, but there was no brush when I bought mine.
