Perilla banchan to go from a Bucheon Korean restaurant: Gim Myeongju
Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Bucheon Main Branch (김명주뜰안채밥상 부천본점) is a Korean set-meal restaurant serving pot rice and cheonggukjang on Gilju-ro 560beon-gil in Jak-dong, Bucheon. Two set meals ordered at Monday lunch peak, after joining the wait on Catch Table, arrived with 12 basic side dishes plus charcoal-grilled pork and grilled mackerel — almost too much food for two — while the yeolmu mul-kimchi (young radish water kimchi) had to be fetched from the self-bar, and one pack of seasoned perilla leaves cost 5,000 won to take home. Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang is a safe choice for treating parents or hosting a family gathering.
