Isu Station Vietnamese restaurant for spicy brisket pho: Bangbaedong
Bangbaedong Ssalguksu Isu Branch is a Vietnamese restaurant a two-minute walk from Exit 10 of Chongshin University (Isu) Station in Dongjak, Seoul. Two of us ordered the spicy beef brisket pho, bun cha (grilled pork with rice noodles) and cha gio (fried spring rolls), and every dish came in generous portions: a punchy spicy broth, a bun cha plate piled with noodles, vegetables and pork, and plump spring rolls. Prices stay easy on the wallet, so Bangbaedong Ssalguksu Isu Branch is a good pho spot near Isu Station for sharing with a group.
