Songdo bakery haul of 8 breads for just over ₩30,000: Tomoru Bakery
Tomoru Bakery is a brick-fronted bakery on the ground floor of Acria Building 2 in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. A regular at the Cheongna branch, the writer visited the Songdo shop for the first time and filled a box with eight items — castella bread, streusel strawberry roll, mont blanc, choco muffin, kkwabaegi (twisted doughnut), pizza bread and old-fashioned red bean bread — for a total in the ₩30,000s. Prices at Tomoru Bakery are kinder than the big café bakeries and the butter flavour runs deeper, making it the kind of bakery you'd visit weekly if it were near home.
