On a weekend evening out with a kid, the writer tried Kumamoto ramen with black garlic oil, the 350-hour aged Mt. Aso pork loin katsu set, and a spoon-eaten sushi bowl with salmon and tuna. A solid pick for families whose tastes split between ramen, katsu, and sushi.
