Isanghan Stay Bupyeong is a fully remodeled hotel on Gyeongwon-daero 1367beon-gil in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon. Staying with her mother in Room 302, the Nintendo Room, the writer tested the private parking, free instant noodles and Starbucks coffee on the first floor, and a kitchen kitted out with wine glasses, plus two double beds. The mattress firmness was just right, satisfying enough that her mother said she wants to stay here again next time.

Sold-out pizza bread pickup at weekday evening bakery: Tomoru Bakery

Tomoru Bakery is a bakery near Songdo Central Park on Haedoji-ro in Yeonsu, Incheon, run by a certified master baker. Visiting on a weekday evening with her mother, the writer found the baguettes already sold out and the display cases nearly empty, but the leftover pizza bread and cookies she ate at the store table turned out crisp outside with beautifully layered texture inside, satisfying both mother and daughter. Since Tomoru Bakery uses no preservatives and everything is meant to be eaten the same day, calling ahead to reserve is the way to go if there's a specific bread you want.
