₩9,000 platter jjajang at Gupo Jjambbong, Busan Chinese restaurant

Gupo Jjambbong Gupo Main Branch is a 20-year-old Chinese restaurant on Sirang-ro near Gupo Market in Buk-gu, Busan, remodeled into a modern space that even has solo seats. For an early dinner before a movie, the meal was half-and-half tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) at 21,000 won, octopus and abalone jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) at 15,000 won, and haemul jaengban jjajang (seafood black bean noodles on a platter) at 9,000 won, with the premium galbi abalone jjambbong sold out at just 10 bowls a day. The mushroom noodles and whole octopus in the jjambbong were excellent, and the platter jjajang was hard to believe at 9,000 won.
