Hana Shabu Shabu Junggye Main Branch is a shabu-shabu and seiro-mushi (cypress box steamed vegetables and meat) restaurant in Junggye-dong, Nowon, Seoul, on the ground floor of the Brownstone Junggye building. After dropping her child at daycare, the writer took the counter seats with a fellow mom in the quiet morning hours and ordered the basic seiro-mushi for two, which arrived piled so high with vegetables the lid would not close, plus a meat tray laid over bean sprouts that left them both full.
