Samseong Station Korean restaurant, giant seafood kalguksu: Obongjip
Obongjip Samseong Branch is a Korean restaurant serving nakji bokkeum (spicy stir-fried octopus) and kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) on Teheran-ro 81-gil, between Samseong Station and Samseong Jungang Station in Gangnam, Seoul. A couple coming from a baby fair ordered nakji bokkeum for two at 28,000 won, seafood kalguksu for two at 20,000 won and buchu jeon (chive pancake) at 15,000 won, then mixed the leftover octopus into rice with sesame oil and gim, and the wife, who had lost her appetite during pregnancy, finished every bite. Portions at Obongjip Samseong Branch are so large that two people should skip the pancake and stick to the octopus and noodle combination.
