Daehangno restaurant with lemon-squeezed corn fritters: Omil Hyehwa

Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is a western restaurant on the second floor of 35 Daemyeong-gil in Jongno, Seoul, a short walk from Hyehwa Station toward the Daehangno theater district. Even at weekday lunch there was a 10-minute wait, and a two-person set with rubber duck omurice, gochujang butter pasta, crunchy corn fritters and two drinks came to 51,700 won. The corn fritters with a squeeze of lemon were the standout at Omil, and they are the dish worth ordering again.
