Hyehwa western restaurant a la carte lunch: soba maki retry at Omil
Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is a Western-style restaurant on the second floor of a building in Jongno, Seoul, a two-minute walk from Hyehwa Station Exit 4. Before a play in Daehangno, the writer ordered two a la carte dishes, the rubber duck omurice (16,900 won) and the buckwheat soba maki (12,900 won), and received a free rubber duck toy with the omurice as a limited promotion. Buckwheat gimbap had disappointed the writer before, but Omil's soba maki was so moist it became the best version she has had.
