Cleansing balm for dry skin and makeup: HEEDA Charcoal Balm
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I used on skin that felt dry, both for heavy makeup and around my nose on no-makeup days. It did not sting my eyes, felt soft to scoop out, and seemed to leave less inner dryness after cleansing, though the no-makeup use reflects my personal preference.

How did it feel on skin that felt dry?

I tried HEEDA’s black balm-textured cleansing balm. Other cleansing balms I had used before stung my eyes, but this one did not sting my eyes.

The texture was soft when I scooped it out, so it felt good to use for removing makeup. When my skin felt dry, it seemed to leave a little less inner dryness after cleansing.

Can it be used on no-makeup days?

Even on days when I did not wear makeup, I cleansed with the balm when I was concerned about blackheads and whiteheads around my nose. However, this reflects my personal purpose for using it and how it felt to me.

Did it remove heavy makeup well?

I used it to remove heavy makeup and mascara, and as the writer, I felt that it removed them cleanly. I was especially satisfied with the soft texture and the fact that it did not sting my eyes.

Where did I buy it?

I was advised that it can be purchased by searching for “sebum cleansing balm” on Coupang.
