Sea walking with a 7-year-old in Gujwa-eup, Jeju: Underwater Play

Underwater Play Bada Sea Walking is a sea-walking activity center inside Gimnyeong Port in Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, where you wear a helmet and walk on the sea floor. A 7-year-old shorter than 120cm went in on the toddler ticket for a 1:1 dive with an instructor, touched and fed the fish, and received a "Sea Explorer" certificate afterwards. Even a shy child was held and looked after by the instructor the whole time, so Underwater Play felt genuinely reassuring for a parent.

Unlimited barley gangjeong at Daegu Korean restaurant Cafe Dongi

Cafe Dongi Daemyeong Station Branch is a Korean set-meal restaurant that opened in September 2026 in an alley behind the Anjirang post office in Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, with set meals in the ₩10,000 range. The writer ordered the grandma-style stir-fried jjukkumi (webfoot octopus) set meal, the flame-grilled pork set meal and a tasting-size sweet and sour pork, and fried egg, five-grain rice, seaweed, hovenia tea and barley gangjeong (puffed barley snack) were all free to refill. The wide single-floor dining room has everything from solo seats to group tables and baby chairs, so Cafe Dongi works for both solo meals and family dinners.
