Hwangbuja Jeotgal is a salted seafood shop in Sokcho, Gangwon, where shoppers can sample and choose from a wide range of jeotgal. I chose low-salt broken-grade white pollock roe for egg custard and mixed rice, then portioned and froze it at home. For frequent home cooking, the value-focused broken-grade roe was a great pick.
