Heat-melted yuzu oranda at Jeju Dongmun Market: Cheongchuni Oranda
Cheongchuni Oranda Dongmun Market Main Branch Tapdong is a Jeju traditional sweets shop near the entrance of Dongmun Market in Jeju City, selling oranda (crispy puffed-rice bars), gwajul (fried rice crackers) and donut oranda. After trying the free samples, the writer bought yuzu oranda and yuzu gwajul (5 for 5,000 won) as snacks back at the guesthouse; the hot weather softened the rice syrup and blurred the shape, but the yuzu scent and crunch held up. Cheongchuni Oranda is an easy, light souvenir to grab on the last day of a Jeju trip.
