Cheongju lamb restaurant with eggplant fritters: Gukje Yangyukgwan
Gukje Yangyukgwan is a lamb skewer and lamb rib restaurant in the Bokdae-dong dining alley of Cheongju, Chungbuk. Three diners came on a weekday at 7pm and ordered two servings of Gukje lamb skewers in teriyaki and curry (10 pieces, 16,000 won each), premium lamb ribs 3 pieces for 32,000 won and kkanpung eggplant fritters for 21,000 won; the meat was fresh and generous, though the fritter batter was thicker than before. Parking is hard at Gukje Yangyukgwan, so public transport is easier, but the meat alone is better than average.
