Yeonam Charcoal-Grilled Pork Backbone & Gamjatang is a charcoal pork bone grill and gamjatang (pork bone soup) restaurant in Daeheung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, a 4-minute walk from Jungangno Station Exit 3. On a Thursday visit at 8:30pm, 9 groups were waiting with a 50-minute estimate, but a Naver reservation meant walking straight in, and the medium half-and-half pork bones (39,000 won) with salt plus the less-spicy sauce and an udon noodle add-on was just right for two. The meat came off the bone cleanly and never felt greasy, and only the udon was too spicy to finish, so Yeonam is worth a visit if you book first.
