Korean restaurant in Banwoldang, Daegu: eggplant doenjang, Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Daegu Jongno Branch (향택 대구종로점) is a Korean restaurant in Jung-gu, Daegu, across from the Starbucks Jongno Gotaek branch and within walking distance of Banwoldang and Dongseongno. We ordered the eggplant doenjang rice bowl for 13,000 won and the Spanish mackerel gondeure rice for 14,000 won, plus a 9,000 won side of grilled mushrooms and deodeok. The mild, non-spicy seasoning and neat side dishes made it a good fit for a meal with parents. For a filling Korean meal, Hyangtaek Daegu Jongno Branch is an easy recommendation.
