Korean BBQ set with ₩7,000 pork kimchi jjigae in Gangdong: Geumdon
Geumdon Hwaro Sangil-dong Station Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant on the first floor of the Megasquare building near Sangil-dong Station in Gangdong, Seoul. Two diners shared the Geumdon Set B for two, added grilled hangjeongsal (pork jowl), and let the staff grill everything down to the fern greens and mushrooms, but it was the ₩7,000 pork-packed kimchi jjigae that stole the show. Verdict: generous, well-seasoned pork and a shockingly cheap stew make this a worthwhile stop.
