Charcoal cleansing foam for sensitive skin: HEEDA Jirisan

How did it feel on sensitive, dry skin?

After the weather turned chilly, my skin felt dry even with moisturizer and I started getting breakouts, so I changed my foam cleanser. I remembered that charcoal products had suited my skin well before, so I chose HEEDA Jirisan True Charcoal Foam Cleansing.

My skin reddens easily and tends to develop small bumps, but it did not feel itchy while washing and felt moisturized afterward. With other drying foam cleansers, I have sometimes felt tightness, redness, or itchiness afterward, but those sensations were less noticeable with this product even when I did not apply lotion right away.

How does it feel after cleansing?

It left my skin feeling moisturized without a slippery feeling that suggested it had not been cleansed thoroughly. It felt clean, with a finish as though a moisture barrier remained on my skin.

Does it remove oily sunscreen well?

I often have days when I wear only sunscreen, and I used to wash several times with my previous foam cleanser when wearing an oily sunscreen. With this product, the slippery feeling was cleanly removed after about two washes. Results may vary depending on the sunscreen you use.

Who might it suit?

If you are concerned about tightness after cleansing but still want to feel that your sunscreen has been removed, my experience may be useful as a reference. I was satisfied with the moisturized yet clean finish on my sensitive skin.
