Low-pH cleansing foam for dry skin: HEEDA Charcoal Foam

How did it feel when post-cleansing dryness was a concern?

I usually used foaming cleansers that left my skin feeling squeaky clean after washing, but the dryness kept bothering me, so I looked for a mild, low-pH product. I had used a HEEDA cleansing balm before, so I decided to try this cleansing foam too.

In my experience, my skin felt less tight after morning cleansing, and I felt less need to immediately spray on mist. It left my skin feeling moisturized without much slipperiness, so the finish felt fresh.

Did the cleansing foam remove light makeup on its own?

I tested waterproof eyeliner and lip products on the back of my hand, and they appeared to come off cleanly when I lathered the cleanser and washed them away. However, this is based only on the test I tried.

There were also days when I used only the cleansing foam, without a cleansing balm or a first cleanse. Since I do not usually wear heavy point makeup, it felt possible for me to cleanse with it alone.

What are the size and use setting like?

It comes in a 150ml size. In a home shared by three women, I thought it would last generously for about a month and a half. The cap also made storage and use feel hygienic.

When did I reach for it most?

I mainly used it when I wanted to be gentler on my skin, such as for morning cleansing or washing after exercise. My experience may be helpful for people concerned about dryness and tightness after cleansing who still want a fresh finish, as well as those who do not often wear heavy point makeup.
