How were the texture and lather for morning and evening use?
It had a dense, dark-colored texture. The small dispensing opening made it easy to take out just what I needed, and because the formula was fairly concentrated, even a small amount produced a soft, rich lather.
After adding water, working it into a lather, and washing my face, it felt minimally irritating. It rinsed fresh without a slippery residue, and my skin felt less intensely tight afterward. For my oily-combination skin, which feels dry in winter, it also felt easy enough to use for morning cleansing.
How well did it remove light makeup?
When I tested it with lip products, it removed light color makeup fairly well. I felt it could be used on its own for sunscreen, foundation, and lipstick.
However, for eye makeup, it was more appropriate to remove it first with a dedicated cleanser and then use this product as a second cleanse.
