Low-pH cleanser for dry skin: HEEDA Moist Charcoal Cleansing Foam

How did it feel when dryness was a concern?

In cold weather, my skin felt rough and dry, so I wanted to change things starting with cleansing. My skin feels dry and thin, so I tend to be disappointed by products that feel tight immediately after washing, but this one did not leave a strong tight feeling right away.

Did it cleanse well after makeup?

When I used it after wearing makeup, it washed away my eye and lip makeup as well. The foam also felt rich, making it easy to cleanse by gently rolling it over my face.

How did I use it?

After washing my hands and wetting my face with lukewarm water, I dispensed about a coin-sized amount, added water, and worked it into plenty of foam. I gently massaged my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin in that order, washing more carefully around my nose and along my jawline.

Rather than rubbing hard, I gently rolled it around my eye area and kept cleansing to around one minute. It was described as a low-pH product that can also be used for morning cleansing.

What skin concerns might it suit?

If, like me, you are concerned about tightness after cleansing and want a gentle feel, it may be worth considering. Skin reactions vary, though, so when using it for the first time, it is better to pay attention to your own skin condition.
