Daehangno pasta restaurant where we waited at a gacha shop: Omil
Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is a fusion Western restaurant on the second floor of a building on Daemyeong-gil in Hyehwa, Jongno, Seoul. On a weekend lunch visit there were 5 parties ahead in line, so the wait was spent at a nearby gacha shop before the meal: gochujang butter pasta at 18,900 won, sizzling cheese katsu on a hot plate at 19,900 won and pineapple ade at 6,900 won. Between the spicy K-butter sauce and the tableside cheese pour, Omil was worth the wait as a date spot before or after a play in Daehangno.
