Daehangno Korean pub for chilled yukhoe and clam stew: Hyehwahwa
Hyehwahwa is a Korean pub in the Daehangno area of Jongno, Seoul, about 146m from Exit 4 of Hyehwa Station. A half plate of premium chilled yukhoe (raw beef), spicy scallop and clam stew, and cheese bomb beef belly kimchi fried rice came to 53,000 won, and because scallops had sold out that day the staff explained it upfront and added extra clams to the stew. Cold yukhoe, hot broth and filling fried rice make Hyehwahwa an easy pick for dinner and a first round of drinks.
