Seoul hotel omakase with endless miso soup and eel udon: Danya, Mapo
Danya at Seoul Garden Hotel is a small Japanese omakase restaurant on basement floor 1 of Seoul Garden Hotel, between Mapo Station and Gongdeok Station in Seoul. A weekday 6pm booking for two on the 120,000 won premium kaiseki course brought jamón with cheese, three appetizers, steamed abalone, seven kinds of sashimi, eight pieces of sushi, two chef's specials, eel tempura bukkake udon and a Lotus cream cheese dessert, and the miso soup served midway came with unlimited refills. Even inside a hotel, Danya felt easy on the wallet: 5 out of 5 for satisfaction and 100% would return.
