Hapjeong weekend date Korean BBQ: spicy beef doenjang stew, Jeongyukdo
Jeongyukdo is a charcoal Korean BBQ restaurant a one-minute walk from Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul, with an outdoor garden patio plus indoor window seats, private rooms and group tables. On a weekend date, the pork set (49,000 won) was grilled over charcoal at an indoor window seat and paired with a spicy hanwoo beef doenjang stew and soju. The portion was right for two, and the ventilation at Jeongyukdo was strong enough that no smoke smell lingered on clothes.
