Pohang mulhoe restaurant with tteokbokki-dipped fried squid: Ppwang
Ppwang Mulhoe is a squid mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) restaurant in the Seolmeori mulhoe district at the end of Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, Gyeongbuk. On a hot day at lunch, the half-and-half mulhoe with squid and flounder cost 20,000 won and the fried squid 15,000 won, and the fried squid went into tteokbokki sauce from the self-service side dish bar, followed by a complimentary grilled flounder. Chewy squid and a well-stocked self bar made Ppwang Mulhoe a filling one-dish meal.
