Why I started looking for a cleansing balm for dry skin

My skin has been soooo dry lately ㅠㅠ I already have severely dry skin that even feels stingy deep down, but as the weather got drier, my skin started acting up too...

So I brought home this cleansing balm! It seemed like just the right fit for dry-skinned me. I normally do not care much about cosmetics, but these days I have been putting a lot of thought into basic skincare! My skin seems to be aging little by little and losing elasticity too, so I have been paying lots of attention to inner beauty! (Or at least trying to, haha)

Since I am pregnant, I heard I have a higher risk of developing dark spots and freckles, so people told me to be even more diligent about makeup, you know? That got me more interested in cleansing too! This little one is the HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm.

What comes with HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm

It is a smooth little tub that fits right into one hand. Open the lid and it is filled right up with a black cleansing balm that reminds you of charcoal! I heard charcoal removes impurities and excess sebum while its rich minerals and beta-glucan help improve the oil-and-moisture balance. Oil-and-moisture balance ㅠㅠ Excess sebum ㅠㅠㅠ Those were especially important factors for me.

It opens right up! There was also a spatula stored inside. Once you are done, you can put it back into the lid, haha.

A warning here... hahahahaha. I opened only the top part and then struggled SO hard trying to peel that thing off??? Hahahahaha. Ah, is it because of my nail polish? What is going on? I must have spent a full 10 minutes on it... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ My husband saw me and went, “You do it like this!” and showed me, hahaha. You have to twist the lid open... how embarrassing...

Texture and rolling feel on the back of my hand

Oh? It scoops out more smoothly than I expected! They say the 10,000 ppm fine genuine charcoal particles quickly absorb sebum and impurities and give deep cleansing down into the pores! Ah, so reassuring, so reassuring.

I tried it on the back of my hand! It melted naturally just from my skin warmth. It went on really softly and gently. Maybe because it is a balm, it felt full of moisture! That is thanks to the squalane and jojoba seed oil :)

The way it rolls is no joke, haha. They say it is also highly effective for improving bumpy texture caused by tiny acne bumps, dead skin cells, and sebum, so I am going to trust it and use it consistently ^^

They say that after just one use, it improves the moisture barrier by 84.4% and uneven texture by as much as 23.3%, so I guess what I felt was spot on!! It was so soft that I think even dry skin could use it every day, and it seemed even better because it helps balance oil and moisture.

I lightly washed my hands, and that moisturized, fresh feeling was still there. There was absolutely no tight or dry feeling. I could definitely feel my skin texture improving too, so I have been using it consistently every evening lately.
