Gujeon Gukbap Yongbong Main Branch is a Korean restaurant near Jeon Cheol-woo Intersection in Yongbong-dong, Gwangju. I had spicy zucchini gukbap and mixed spicy pork gukbap for dinner; the broth and generous pork were good, though our meat dumpling order was missed.
Jejurowoon Cheonghaewon Seongsan Ilchulbong Branch is a seafood restaurant on Sinyang-ro in Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju. On my Jeju trip, I ordered the A set with braised cutlassfish, abalone seafood stew, fried tilefish, and pot-cooked rice; the braise was flavorful without being aggressively spicy, and the spacious, windowed dining room felt comfortable.
