Chopilsal Pork Grill Hongdae Branch is a pork barbecue restaurant in Mapo, Seoul, about five minutes from Hongik University Station. After about 40 minutes of Saturday-evening remote waiting, we had salt-seasoned ogyeopsal and signature pork skin with soybean powder and sauce. Verdict: absolutely worth revisiting despite the wait!
Yu Iksang Sushi is a sushi restaurant near Hongdae Entrance Station in Mapo, Seoul, known for sushi topped with fish that extends longer than the rice. We had the ₩52,000 Couple A set for a late Saturday lunch, complete with generous sides and complimentary eggplant sushi. Verdict: a good pick for trying a variety of extra-long sushi comfortably.
